Landscape Planting Service

Landscape Planting Service - Garden Concepts Landscape Design Bucks CountyOnce the construction – or hardscaping – portion of your landscape project is complete, it is time for the plantings to go in. One must take all the cultural requirements for different plant communities into account before selecting specific plants for installation. Each site can vary in soil conditions, drainage, light, and micro-climate.  While choosing plant material that thrives in a site’s particular conditions is usually best, we can make changes to the existing site conditions to accommodate a client’s wishes.  Most landscapes will benefit from at least a few shade trees. Coniferous and evergreen trees may also be desirable to create privacy screens and windbreaks. Understory trees (flowering and small trees) and shrubs help to complete the portion of the landscape at eye-level. But don’t forget one of the most important parts of your planting plan – herbaceous plants. Perennials, annuals, ground covers and bulbs all help to complete the lower level of your landscape planting.

Southeastern Pennsylvania – and especially Bucks County – is a prime area for growing an immense assortment of plants.  We install trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, bulbs and lawns.  Garden Concepts Landscape Design can help you choose the best plants suited to your site. We welcome and enjoy requests for native plants, habitats for attracting birds and butterflies, rare and unusual plants, and large specimen trees.
